MyEnergi V2.1 Eddi Immersion Controller

The Eddi 2.1 intelligently diverts surplus energy generated by your solar panels or wind turbine, using it to heat your water or rooms instead of exporting it back to the grid.

This advanced energy management system is designed for use with grid-tied PV or wind turbine setups. It efficiently redirects excess power from your microgeneration system to up to two heating devices—typically top and bottom immersion heaters—maximising your self-consumption and reducing energy waste.

A grid current sensor (included) easily clips around your incoming supply cable to monitor excess power. The Eddi then automatically adjusts the voltage supplied to the heater load, ensuring that any surplus energy is put to effective use. For added flexibility, the Harvi self-powered wireless sensor is available separately.

The Eddi also includes an internal expansion interface, allowing you to connect additional modules for enhanced functionality—such as automatic day/night supply switching, heat pump integration for legionella control, and temperature sensing. An optional ELS module enables G100-compliant Export Limiting Schemes, helping you avoid costly grid reinforcement expenses.
