The Zappi operates just like a standard EV charging point but comes with advanced eco charging modes designed to help homeowners with grid-tied solar or wind systems make the most of their renewable energy.

In ECO+ mode, Zappi automatically adjusts the charging rate to use only surplus energy that would otherwise be exported to the grid—allowing you to charge your vehicle for free using your own renewable power.

The ECO mode functions similarly but lets you set a minimum charge target to be achieved by a specific time. This ensures your vehicle always has enough charge when needed, while still keeping grid energy usage to a minimum.

When switched to FAST mode, Zappi works like a traditional EV charger, delivering maximum power for quick and convenient charging.

Zappi is a Mode 3 charging station, fully compatible with all electric vehicles that meet SAE J1772, EN62196, and EN61851 plug-in EV standards.
